Have you Changed the Air Filter?

A dirty air filter can cause the furnace blower motor to pull more electricity and over heat as well. My advice is to change the furnace filter at least once every 4 to 6 weeks during heating season and for air conditioning once a month. A dirty air filter can cause an increase in your power bill and potentialy shortern the life of your HVAC unit.

Regularly changing your HVAC air filter is crucial for efficiency and longevity. A dirty filter strains the system, leading to higher electricity usage and potential overheating. For optimal performance, replace filters every 4 to 6 weeks in heating season and monthly during air conditioning. Consult your HVAC Contractor for maintenance advice to extend your unit's lifespan and save on energy costs.
